As if I needed another reason not to trust birds. First of all, I like to think that I respect different viewpoints, but I can’t get on board with how they perceive the world. It’s not a game of which I just happen to be an idiot savant. (I’m referring to darts, of course. I’m amazing at darts. Really. I have NO strategy either; I just aim and nail it. Jealous?) Anyways, the world is not a giant cesspool that welcomes free shitters. It’s just not. And they have no respect for the fact that SOME of us would like to live in a world where head shitting is not an option. SO fucked up.
There’s no solid proof, but it seems that a “bird strike,” AKA when birds get sucked into an airplane’s jet engine, caused the US Airways plane to crash into the Hudson River. I’m not saying it was intentional, but even the term “bird strike” has a negative connotation, right? Like all the birds in the Tri-state area got together and decided they just HAD to demand better wages and benefits and whatnot. Seriously?! They’re not Wal-Mart employees. I think they’ve had a PRETTY sweet ride so far. Free food? Check. All expense paid travel? Check. Pretty sweet.
Anyways, all 151 passengers and crew on board reportedly got out safely. Nice try, birds.
