I am SO hopped up on Thanksgiving today. I can’t stop searching recipes. It’s taking over my LIFE, and I’m INTO it. I finally was like ENOUGH, and I took a break from recipe searching to start looking for new restaurants and food related articles. But of course.
On my search, I randomly came across this review about the bakery I raved about back in September. Talk about food porn:
The banana-sesame-agave cake is a dense puck-shaped thing, crunchy outside and tender within, teeming with nutty sesame seeds and impregnated with a few moist chunks of dried banana, just lightly sweetened with agave syrup.
I enjoy my vegan desserts just as much as the next vegetarian health obsessed foodie, but, um “impregnated?” I don’t know if I’m so into the idea of fruits copulating. Or, really, I’m not so sure I want to INGEST that. On principle. Still, this place is awesome. Even if their desserts need to be hosed down from time to time.
